A week with the Hastings gals!

While Angie and Dan are livin it up in New York with my parents this week my family has magically grown two extra children. As if there weren't enough kids running around this place! Now I don't really want to get in to why my best friend would head across the country to the big city and leave her one and only sister behind, so lets just dive right into the FUN that WE are having with our super sized family!

THURSDAY! DISCOVERY GATEWAY.

First we stopped to play with the balls.

Cole and Gabe were putting balls down tubes that made silly sounds.

Emma helped Cole crank the wheels

These tubes would suck balls up them.

When you opened them the wind would blow at you!

It was hilarious

Cole wasn't to sure about it.

Crazy child only got one step off the ground and

it was because I made him do it.

Cali was a little scared too.

The boys played in the helicopter.

The girls colored with chalk.

Then they doodled with the Bee.

(except crazy child, he was afraid of the bee.)

Then we joined a finger painting class!!!!

Do I really need to tell you how crazy child felt about it?

Emma dove right in. I have a feeling her mother wouldn't approve of this mess.

To top off our awesome day. They pulled Emma's name

out for the Grand Prize! 7 Doodle books the kids have

been having a blast with.

We hurried home so we could get Gabe to batting practice.

FRIDAY!

The weather was amazing! So we threw on some

summer clothes and went out back.

Dad turned the sprinklers on!! These are the brave kids.
